Guys I'm about to throw my PB in the dumpster...

For almost two years, my 820sp worked flawlessly as it relates to holding temperature (or within minimal fluctuations on either side). Recently, however, it began experiencing wild temperature fluctuations, swinging 100 degrees in just a few minutes. After contacting PB, I was sent a new temperature sensor. Despite thoroughly cleaning the grill, the issue persisted (to a lesser degree - pun not intended) , so I was sent a control board and new igniter.

Now, I have a new control board, igniter, and temp sensor (all connections are secure), a spotless fire pot, fresh PB brand competition blend pellets (and the auger and hopper have been cleaned out), and a rain cap about 1/2" above the chimney. Yet, I'm still seeing 40-degree fluctuations, doesn't matter if the temperature is set to 250 or 300. This is based on the control board display.

The ambient temperature is around 70°F, minimal wind, and while I’ve been writing this, the temp started at 300, went up to 315, then dropped to 280, an now is back up to 315.

Is this normal?
