Well it’s me again and after getting another control board but with a fan this time I replaced fan a newer control board.
Now the auger doesn’t work.
Really?
Ok everyone think of the worst words you can use to describe a non-working item that you haven’t been able to use and every time they want to send a new board. So another cook gone and another two weeks to wait for me to take apart and replace. Piece of shit.

Have you spoken to the store you purchased it at, seems ( Lowes, home Depot ) are pretty good at simply replacing it as a return some members have noted. What about asking PB to do the same, as it appears you have really not used it at all !
Others have also bit the bullet and purchased a new boards themselves with luck from Amazon, Ebay and kept another as a spare.

I bought it through Amazon. Can’t return it. Danson’s can’t return it.

So I took it all apart and got the auger to turn. Now I’m afraid of spending more money on meat and find out it wont work again. Apprehensive

Ok fellow smokers, oh wait I haven’t smoked yet.

What is the best way to clean it after use so the pellets don’t get stuck.
Any and all methods are welcome.

Do you have a drain door on the back of the hopper? If so, after each cook turn up to high and empty hopper. Let the grill run until the pellets are gone in the auger. When the temp drops, you know pellets are gone. Turn off grill and let shut down happen. If you have no pellet drain on hopper you will need a small cheap shopvac dedicated to sucking up nothing but pellets out of the hopper to reuse later or scoop them out with something. My grill has a drain but some dont which i find rediculous....
