Hey all,
Just finished my spice rack and got me thinking. Curious what anyone's favorite rub is. Think I might have an addiction. But hey, better than others!
Have a great and safe Memorial Day Weekend and a big Thank You to ALL of our troops, past and present! God bless you!
Marc

Well done. Really nice project. As far as rubs go I really tend to prefer savory, so an SPG I make up is my most used. I have been using Meat Church's All purpose, Honey BBQ. I will also give a light dusting of their Voodoo on ribs. I also recently used Rile's pecan rub that I really liked. I have a collection of different rubs which will probably not ever get used.

Thanks for the response. Gonna have to try that Riles Pecan Rub. Fun to try all the different stuff out there.

I used it to dust the surface of a meatloaf which had seasonings mixed in it. I think it would also be good on ribs. If you ever do a chicken I really like "Tony Chachere's injectable creole style" along with whatever rub I feel like using.

I use homemade SPG as a 1st dusting on most everything. Also like Pitboss sweet rib rub.. like "Rub Some Chicken" on poultry. There are a ton of rub recipes online. I too like Tony's injectable butter in pork loin.

Ohhh, gonna be a good summer! I gotta meat loaf in the freezer my buddy made will try that on.
I got the PB injector a while back that I haven't used yet. Going to try that Tony's butter!
Smoke on!
We love PB's GSP, Chicago Rub and the best for stuffed jalapeno mix is the Southwest.
Thanks for the feedback.

Smoken Coles also makes a great sauce! If you can't find it in a store, you can order it online. They used to sponsor our cook team. I'm not saying anything good because of that, they just make a good product.

I just ordered both rubs off their website. Can't wait to try it. More into rubs than sauces but if this pans out!!!!
So glad I started this thread. How you find out about good stuff.
May have to build another spice rack!

Nice spice cabinet beats the plastic totes I have a lot of my stuff in.
If you like spicy hot try the habanero death dust or crucible ghost chile rub from here. Try there sample packs either way.

Hope it works out for you!! Jim talked about Oakridge rubs, knew some who used it and they spoke very highly of it. Lots of good stuff out there, need to be a millionaire to try it all!!

Hey all,
Pork loin and asparagus on the smoker tonight. My buddy told me about Frag Out, veteran owned company. Got my mix of 6 yesterday.
Put the Constitution, sweet and smoky on one, Craft spice blends whiskey maple smoke rub on the other and Frag Out Liberator, lemon garlic on the asparagus.
Smells great so far. Waiting for my Smokin Coals order.
Smoke on!
