Picked up a new Austin XL 1000 last week.. Had a few kinks to work out ( on my end, always been a wood box smoker) but after talking to a pit boss rep got them all ironed out.. Smoked a pork loin and some haddock sorry no pictures... Man they were SLAMMING... today some hot and mild Italian sausage.. Again SLAMMING.. tomorrow a brisket.. Pictures will follow.. Over all VERY happy with the smoker..

You are very lucky. How do you feel when using it? How does the roast taste?

Cool, keep us posted. The first and only brisket I did turned out like an old leather boot. I hated it but my daughter loved it. I don't think I did it right and have hesitated to try another.
