I smoke my drinks, too. Rye old fashion made with whistle pig and maple syrup smoked with cherry wood.

Never heard of smoking drinks, sounds pretty cool. Basically, how do you do that? You get a noticeable result?
This piece holds chips. You light it with a torch and it pushes the smoke down into the drink.

It definitely adds to the flavor profile. I hit it pretty hard with smoke and it gives you the smokiness up front.

been seeing that on some of those boat shows on cable tv I wonder what flavor it bring if its noticeable

Update: The chili was fantastic. The Pulled pork was the best I've ever made. This time I smoked and rested the butts like always, but then pulled the pork and vac sealed it with all of the juices. Saturday night I just heated it up in the vac seal bags in hot water and WOW it was amazing!!! It was easily the most tender pork I've done. Vac sealing in the flavor, juices, and moisture and the heating it up the way I did made a huge difference. My pulled pork is usually great, this was another level!
