Made the best Buttery tasting tarts today smoked 350 degrees for 40 minutes
Pastry
1/2 lb frozen butter grated
2 2/3 cups all purpose flour
1 Tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup plus 3 Tbsp ice water
Mix dry ingredients then add water blend lightly roll to ball and refrigerate 3 hrs
Filling
3/4 cup soft butter
3/4cup brown sugar
3/4cup corn syrup
3 eggs beaten
1 tsp vanilla
Pinch salt
1Tbsp flour
Blend all ingredients except eggs then add beaten egg and mix light if you wish a runny tart omit flour
Bake till pastry is a golden brown
