I just purchased: Pitt Boss Odessa 1250, and I am going to "attempt" to smoke chicken for the first time; looking for some advice on temp, time, prep, etc...

That would work fine for a whole chicken but for just the breasts, I would think that white meat breast would dry out over the 2 hours.Welcome from Texas to the group!!

But like Cowboy stated " or until internal temperatures reach 165 / 180", ignoring the time stated all together.
