Pork Butt Overnight

Smoker was shut down probably about an hour into the overnight cook. The outdoor temperature was 44°. The question is continue with cooking the pork butt or pitch it. Was also using a smoke tube.

When in doubt throw it out.

Wow. I'd break my heart tossing all that meat out!
I use a remote temp monitor to wake me out of my sleep if the smoker shuts down or runs out of pellets or if the temp runs away for some reason.

Full disclosure, I'd try to salvage it. 44°F is not all that warm, IMO.

They have blue tooth ones on the AZN with 1,2,4 probes and the app will ding you on the temp,
