Pitboss vertical smoker problem

Hi all I am having trouble getting my pittboss to heat up am new to this just can’t get it started.

From my observation it appears the ignighter isn’t working properly and not giving any flame to pellets but when you look past it it is hot but no flame near pellets in fire pot ,this is very frustrating.

Maybe the igniter isn’t sticking out far enough.

Thanks so much for your help ,you were exactly right .The igniter was loose so I had to turn the smoker upside down an move the igniter forward and tighten the screw that holds it in place .It appears this screw was never tightened . Thanks once again.Michael

Now we know! I took a look when cleaning mine smoker today and see how that is situated. Makes sense.
