Pit Boss WIFI question

So I am looking to create an HA component to show details from the Pit Boss wireless controller via WIFI. Does anyone have any information on the protocol and how its used? Has anyone tried this?

I have a Hubitat environment. Had not thought of getting feedback from the app, which I think would be the issue. Since, it uses WiFi, it would be TCP/IP based -- dunno about the application layer. I can't imagine the dev wrote his/her own. Probably ESP32. Could install a sniffer. But, since it's cloud based --- I can only imagine it's encrypted. I'll dig around later -- maybe something in github.
