I just invested in my second Pit Boss pellet grill. I have had a Pit Boss 1100 Pro Series for over three year and have absolutely enjoyed the meals that I have prepared on it. I have been looking around though, as the temperature increments were too far apart and the clean up of the ashes in the fire pot and bottom of the grill were challenging, to say the least. And keeping the temperature steady has been challenging lately. The controller doesn't seem to be holding the temp as well as it used to. The temperature varies about 100 degrees up and down from the set temperature (I am going to call Pit Boss customer service about that). Anyway, I had looked at another Pro Series from Lowe's, The PB 1600 Pro Series, but the price point was just a little too high for my comfort. Then I saw the Pit Boss Savannah - Onyx Edition at Walmart...and I bought it. What an awesome pellet grill! It's temperature increments are 5 degrees apart. It doesn't have bluetooth/wifi, but I don't care about that. I don't want to grill from my recliner. I like the removable fire pot for easy clean up. This grill is just absolutely awesome! There is plenty of cooking space. I look forward to many more years of smoking meals from my Pit Boss!
