Hi all, looking at the Pit Boss Pro Series 4 Vertical smoker from Lowes. Has anyone smoked a 20 to 25 lb turkey butterflied on it? Not sure if it will be deep enough to fit. I currently do it on my 22in weber charcoal smoker. Thanks for the help.

Hi...the racks on my BPS4V2 are 13" x 20". I'll leave it to you to determine if your turkey will fit.

In a worst case scenario, you could always split the spatchcocked turkey in half and use two racks. Not ideal, but possible.

Take out a rack or two, you'll have more room. Or cut it in half and do half's on each rack. Always can use a brick wrapped in clean aluminum foil to prop the middle up, should shrink some during the smoke.
