My old PB grill is going on 7-8 years old. I’m afraid it’s near end of life. It still works but I have to baby sit it all the time. That’s why I prefer my Copperhead vertical. It’s a champ!

Been looking at the 850 DX at Lowe’s. Looks nice but I know nothing about them. Anyone have that model? Currently on sale for $499 but it was cheaper around Fathers Day.

We’ve got one and I’m getting ready to do some burgers soon. Had it since Jan and I’m happy with so far.

We picked it up in the box and I assembled it. Don’t take much to put it together.

The longest cook I’ve done was I threw some pork ribs in there for 6 hrs. Using the App remotely while I was working out in the field. Max distance 1/4 mile away. The app and grill worked flawlessly and the ribs turned out perfect. I didn’t open the lid or check on the grill however I made sure the hopper was full with Pitt Boss Competition Blend pellets.

I haven’t used the temp probes much.

Here’s a screenshot of that cook and you can see where and when I changed the temperature.

I’ll share this too but I brought it on myself so as long as you clear the auger tube at appropriate times I don’t think a jam will happen however priming each time and pressing and holding the prime button can be a a little bit of a drag. Haha

Someone posted on Facebook that they soldered a switch into the circuit of the controller then mounted the switch into the hopper so it faces out. I guess pressing and holding the prime button was too painful.
