PB850PS2 - Error code 106 SPL ??

My PB850PS2 is showing the following on the control panel: 106 SPL
I can't find any information about what it means. Does anyone have an idea?

It lists the 106 where the temperature would be and the SPL is listed under the Second (bottom) MP location. The unit does not respond to anything, power button does nothing. The grill hasn't been used for a few days and we haven't had any power outages but last evening I noticed it with this on the display and being unresponsive. I unplugged it and left it that way overnight then plugged it in again this morning but same message on the display. I bought this thing in the spring and I've already had to replace the controller and temperature sensor. When it works, it's great, but this is getting ridiculous.

Yes. It’s in a covered location that keeps it dry and out of the weather. It also got used pretty much everyday during the summer as it’s used as a grill as well as smoker. Why? What does that code mean?

I don't know about the code, but I would not leave it plugged in just for safety reasons.
the power is hot all the way up to your control board, rats are known to eat electrical wires.
