hello from Boise!
Just picked up a used PB820ps1 that needed a new board. I was going to just swap in a new legacy board but came across posts about 1100 folks upgrading to the 1150 PID pro board.
I wasn't able to confirm here or on Reddit/Google if anyone had done the 820ps1 >> 850 pro PID upgrade and if so, what that entailed (I assume a little cutting, new 850 pro board, heat probe, anything else?)
pitboss-grills.com
I figured if I was going the PID route, I'd look at a Pit Boss control board before looking at Savannah or Smoke Daddy. I like that Smoke Daddy provides a cover plate to close the gap
TIA!
