I just purchased a PB1100PSC2 triple function combo grill from Lowes and got it home yesterday. After a quick burn-off, I decided to smoke ribs all day and noticed the temp settings only work in 10-degree increments. Is this a setting that can be changed? I'd at least love to have access to five-degree increments. Also, I noticed the older model with the dial went all the way down to 95 degrees for smoking but this new model starts at 190? Again, is this a setting that can be lowered? I would think it's just a matter of updating the firmware so the app can tell it to operate at a lower temp. The app even has a calibration mode that asks the grill to be set to 225 but again, I can't set it to anything but 10-degree increments starting at 190.

I noticed the pic of the grill on the app when selecting your grill model shows the old temp/dial as opposed to the new controller on the Lowes exclusive too.

Any help/info is appreciated.

Whoa! Fair enough. Appreciate the info buddy but I hope they can tweak the firmware a bit. Otherwise I might have to pull the guts outta this thing and take a look. I wonder if there are other controllers that will work with it?

Some of the guys have upgraded their controllers. Just have to look around and see what they've done. I'm just gonna give my 1150ps2 away and get a new Camp Chef. I'm tired of fighting temp differences from one end to the other, poor app support, and several other minor issues that shouldn't exist on a friggin BBQ grill... All I want is to smoke meat FOR CRYIN OUT LOUD...! I'm done with it.
