last time I tried using it I could not get it to connect on my phone that was new years week end

Pretty much have to get the Customer Service folks at App-Assist to help with the connectivity due to consistent updates.....

They had me disconnect my router for a few minutes then reconnect. It hooked up then.

I got a pop up on the smoke it app saying to call a number it was to put boss directly and they informed me out boss has their own app coming out later today or tomorrow and they are not using smoke it no longer. I just checked and it’s not in the Apple Store yet.

iPhone here. Checked App Store and saw an update for SmokeIt
Downloaded and all seems ok

I was told by pit boss is it won’t be smoke IT no longer it will be pit boss grills and soon the smoke IT won’t be working.

It's the 'Pit Boss Grills' app. Once loaded it will upload firmware to the PID controller so be ready to take about 10 minutes doing this. I like the new temp control in the app better than the dial. Might have to put some ribs on this weekend just to see how well it works

I was able to get the new pit boss grills app on iPhone first few login attempts got a server issue pop up but after a few tries I was able to login Conan try to connect to my grill tonight make sure everything works

Yeah it’s on iPhone now it’s not the top one after you search it’s about 7-8 down

I can't seem to get a notification of temp I can set Temps for the probes but am not notified when that temp is reached. ?

That’s the one thing I asked when I spoke to pit boss and they said yes it should alert you I haven’t tried it yet but will be later today

I’m sure it’s me I see in the ap about alert but can’t find where to allow them on the android phone
