Newbie - Vertical Smoker Upgrades?

Has anyone done the two amp upgrade to their vertical smoker? Auger motor, fan, igniter and smoke pot having trouble with auger getting clogged and losing temp and not producing as much smoke.

If the auger is jamming, the pellets are getting wet. Eliminate the water, eliminate the jam.
