New to the pellet smoker scene

Hey y’all. I purchased a PB1150 v3 last fall and have only used it twice. I’ve owned charcoal smokers before and my last smoker was a Bradley, I loved that thing and had it for many years. Only thing with this one I’m not use to is the “Lack” of smoke it produces and inaccuracy of the unit temps. Any pointers for a newbie would be greatly appreciated. Thanks y’all.

I own the INKBIRD and love it. Never have any issues
I also use a smoke tube and layer pellets and wood chips in mine

A smoke tube is a real plus to deepen the smoke ring although I will say that running low on your P settings you can get a really good smoke ring. You just need to babysit the temp since the controller isn't running closed loop temp control.

Pellet selection is a big factor in this as well. I ran a lot of Bear Mountain hickory pellets and would see a lot more smoke than the Pit boss in running now.
