They look so pretty good from here.
I had some of the Costco pellets - mixed with some charcoal pellets. It was a 50/50 blend. Truly, different. Was good for a first try, kept temp well too. Tonight I have 9# shoulder on...Welcome! Those do look tasty! What pellets are you using?
Thanks, seems like a friendly, cool forum. Happy to be here!Welcome from Texas to the group!!
Congratulations on your new grill![]()
Greetings, I added a zgrill 11002b to my PB 850 and the stable temps w/ biscuit test and bigger size it works great. I will say when i first got it the BT/WIFI was a nightmare, but its all good now. Your chicken thighs looknlike the skin turned out pretty crispy, awesome. Cooked them 4 times now and last batch pulled skin and mucho fat off prior to smoking, turned out really jucy and no rubbery skin, LOL. Grest group of smokers on here with great advice.Picked this up on sale to replace a ZGrill that had some storm damage. Smoked a pack of thighs yesterday... Need more practice... Pellet choice matters!
What's your assessment of the charcoal pellets? I have some, (Royal Oak) haven't tried them yet.I had some of the Costco pellets - mixed with some charcoal pellets. It was a 50/50 blend. Truly, different. Was good for a first try, kept temp well too. Tonight I have 9# shoulder on...
They haven't kicked me out (yet) so they seem to be either poor readers or a pretty good and forgiving bunch. I hope to stick around some and learn more about PB and pellet smokin..Thanks, seems like a friendly, cool forum. Happy to be here!
