New owner

I purchased the Pit Boss Pro Series II 1100 combo from lowes over the weekend. I did the burn out yesterday then smoked some ribs… the ribs came out great, but it took the pellet grill about 45 minutes or so to make it to 400 for the burnout. Otherwise it held the temp perfectly for the smoking. This is my first pellet grill so am just wondering if it is normal for it to take that long to reach 400. It was about 85 outside.

My 1150 responds better each time I cook on it. Especially after I started using only the dial to set temps. I use a stand alone unit to monitor temps.
