New member , question about BBQ placement

Hello everyone, looking forward to learning from all of you. We just purchased a PB Pro Series II 1100, smoker, LP gas grill and side burner combo unit. My question is having a elevated metal frame canvass covered awning, is it ok to put unit on the deck ? The awning is 7 ft high on the one side and about 8-9 ft on the roof side. I currently have a LP gas BBQ on the deck without any heat buildup issues ever. The deck area is 14 ' x 20'

I have a small backyard patio with the house overhang, i think its about 7 x 15 and like yours prob 8 or 9 ft high and cook with a pro series 1150 sitting on the edge furthest from the house...haven't had any issues...but just in case I also have a fire extinguisher near by for overnight cooks
