Just replaced my GM Daniel Boone that my Dad gave me for Christmas a year or so before he passed......it bit the dust and is now about to become a flower planter in the back yard. Replaced it with a PB0820D3 Sportsman. My Dad and I put my last one together ourselves, so in his memory I brought the new one home in the box and this disabled lady assembled it and set it up myself. Did my first burn followed by grilling some chicken breasts(only thing I had on hand) and some baked sweet potatoes. So simple to run and my chicken and sweet potatoes were so yummy!!!!
I think it is awesome that PB has a port to empty out the pellets from the hopper....wish my old grill had that. I also love the moveable part that allows for the direct flame grilling. I do wish it had a low pellet level alarm like my GMG did but hey I can see the level through the window so no big deal.
Only issue I had was upon trying to register my new grill.... couldn't do it online so had to call and do it via phone.
Hoping I get as many years from this one as I did my GMG....it lasted almost 30yrs!!!
