Low temp problem

I have a brand new PB1150 and have used it last two days, It will not maintain low temps. If I set the dial to 250 it will just keep dropping down into the low 100's. I have to keep kicking it up to 300 to bring the temp back. It will hold fine at 300 but what good is that if I want to do a long slow cook? Has anyone else experienced this problem?

I do not have a 1150 but have heard this was an issue, appears to be a bad controller. I’ve read that PB recommends 4 burn offs at 350 and in some cases this has worked for people.
