Laredo hopper smoking

I just did the burn in like the book said 350 for 40 minutes and then shut off after a few minutes there was smoke coming from the hopper .... Now I'm assuming it's normal with temp that high and pellets still in the auger right?

I'm getting it too, seems like pellet dust burning off from my searches
