Hello all just bought the Brunswick and have had nothing but issues, first issue I had was the auger and fan were wired wrong had to fix that situation then today I get an ignitor err code now pit boss is sending new ignitor very frustrating anyone else having similar issues with this model?

No, I have the PBV4PS2 which is the twin to the Brunswick. I've heard of many Brunswick get damaged in shipping to Walmart or from them. An ignitor is fairly fragile, for the work it does, and a good bump or bang may crack it rendering it useless.

Thanks Mike I'm thinking it was a combo of shipping and we're the auger was sending to many pellets to the burn pot and caused issues as well at least I got a good run out of it yesterday doing brats customer service is fantastic though

I have 2 of that model both needed the ignitor replaced. The replacement ignitor has worked great, no issue afterwards.

thanks for your reply see the weird thing about my ignitor is it will work fine for a couple of hours then it will give the err code I can hit the power button off then on and it works fine for another hour or two very strange

One of mine did the same thing got to the point it wouldn't reset it again.

well I'm glad someone else had the same issue my unit I just got was also wired wrong at factory the auger and fan were wired improperly one day I'll have this smoker running right

I'll tell you though, when they are running right, they are great. I have and Fe pellet smoker I paid 3500 for .my Brunswick cooks better than it does. We just did a taste test from the Fast Eddie, My Yoder and the Brunswick. The Judges all gave the Pitboss better scores. I used the same rubs and process on all 3 smoker, trying to get for competition this year.

well I can't wait till I get the new ignitor so I can get to it what part of Indiana you from?

Brand new unit myself. Same issue.
Power wires were wrapped up in auger motor fan. Got that taken care of.
Got initial burn off, ran for a couple hours no problem.
Next day attempted to smoke a butt, had igniter issues. Smoker would get to 230(set temp), and then igniter would fault out. Attempted restart several times. I rechecked all connections and everything. I ohmed out the igniter, and it reads ~73 Ohms just as it should, so I don't think thats the problem. Pitboss said it's the igniter, so whatever. Was supposed to ship out on Monday, label wasn't created till today, hopefully be here Sunday.

I think they ship same day once a week so far not very happy with all the repairs I'm having to make

Same here. I'm about NASCAR pit tire change speed on tearing this thing down and putting it back together.

yea it is ridiculous I'll be glad to actually use my 600 dollar purchase my tracking still says it's in north Carolina I called them on the 31 with my issue still hasn't been scanned by FedEx
