I only have ever used non-ammonia glass cleaner on the outside for quick wipe downs, kept on a covered porch with a grill cover on it. Live in NE AL so winter and summer isn’t to harsh and all 3 of my hoods and chimney (smoker, pellet, gas grill/griddle cover) the paint has slowly but surely come off from maybe once a month wipe downs after cooks. There is just a couple small spots under the handles left of original silver paint but now it looks like all the standard brown PitBoss brown smokers. I don’t mind it to much it’s uniform but wondering if this has happened to anyone else?
