Quick question, I’m currently smoking/grilling a couple of bacon wrapped chicken breast and there’s a little bit of smoke coming from the fire pot opening under the grill….Normal?
!!
I have a smoke tube from Amazon and I layer pellets and wood chips
Works awesome
Might be a bit late but I have the 1600 with the removable burn pot. I have always had a little smoke leak through the gasket. I assumed it was normal.

Yeah unless ur missing the gasket that goes around the opening. I noticed my fire pot dips down a little on the right hand side. Pit boss should of added another latch on that side to keep it sealed up a little better.

YES, pellet smokers do not create as much smoke as an offset. If you want more smoke get a smoke tube
