Hey all. Newbie here trying to grill while trying to stay locked down. I do have a question. The S setting is around 140 degrees, and that seems a little low. I was looking for smoke at around 175. Will the vertical Pit Boss smoke at a higher temperature? Thanks!

Welcome to the forum @preachman55 - I would think you would get decent smoke at anything under 200.

Hello @preachman55 ! Do the vertical Pit Boss smokers have a "P" button? In colder outside temps, I have to adjust the P setting (on my Classic) to get the smoker temps up. I have determined that it's easier to simply set it to 200 though and I still get nice smoke.
