Hello PB Fam! PB1150 PS2 owner from Northern Illinois

Hello fellow Pit Boss owners. I received my PB1150 PS2 as a fathers day gift (to myself) last year. Worked flawlessly for a dozen or so cooks and was very happy! Had some controller issues the last 2 cooks, including a shoulder that is still on the pit today, related to app connectivity and large temp swings. I will not let these issue deter me though as I love this thing and the value Pit Boss offers for my current skill level!

Not sure where in Texas you are from but I travel to San Antonio once per month for work (half my team is in Elmendorf) and Texas Pride in Adkins has been my go to. If you or anyone else has any suggestions on other BBQ joints to try in/around San Antonio please let me know!

Good ol mesquite!!
I grew up in pleasant grove when it was pleasant lol
Used to go to the walk in theatre on the square in mesquite
For fifty cents I could watch a double western, get a hot dog and soda water.
Great times back then. And Miller cafe was on the square

Ya, the grove not too pleasant any more. Mesquite is redoing the square so more people will go downtown.
