Hello. I just ordered my 5 Series vertical yesterday and have a couple questions. First, is there an upgraded board to make this wife/bluetooth compatible? The ones on the website don't show that model # of smoker is compatible. Second, any tips on making it taller. I'm 6'3" so would love to know if longer legs are available. Thanks!

Hello back from North Carolina. I have my Series 4 up on some cinder blocks. Didn't really do it for height but more for stability since I do long smokes off the deck and on the grass. Mine is bluetooth/WiFi which surprises me that your Series 5 is not.

I saw the 4 series in Lowes had bluetooth but the 5 series I bought direct from their site does not. It doesn't make sense but hoping they sell an upgrade board.

sure doesn't make sense. I bought mine because the controller was high and on the side. I'm six feet tall and with my bad hips I wasn't up for bending over to adjust temps etc.

maybe you might want to consider the Series 4 instead then. I haven't really compared the 5 to the 4 to understand what the differences are.

The 5 is bigger and has an extra rack which is why I went that way. I guess I can live without the bluetooth controls. I have an iGrill with probes I can use.
