Grease...

The pellet box? That is odd. How is it getting there? From what I found online, the 700R is a lot like the 700FB shown here. https://www.amazon.com/Pit-Boss-700FB-Pellet-Grill/dp/B01GFX0104 . The grease is supposed to travel down the inside curved piece to the right, while the pellet box is on the left. Have you looked inside to see how the grease is getting all the way to the left? Maybe the grease guides aren't feeding to the downspout?

A picture would tell us a lot here, I think.

Taking an educated guess but do you get a lot of smoke coming out of your pellet box? Smoke can concentrate down to an oil, ever buy liquid smoke? Same stuff, maybe collect it and try it out LOL.

I just bot a Pitboss 820D2, I have encountered grease dripping on the bottom of the barrel towards the right hand side where the legs attach . I have covered the drip pan with foil not sure if that has been causing it. It seems to get more grease on the inside of the barrel more than my Traeger ever did. Any suggestions?

I have the same issue I checked the grill is level but I can't keep the grease off the ground. My grease trap is almost clean daily. I just got this three weeks ago. I have a PB1000SC2 please help

Grease is dripping from the bottom of the pellet box - Rancher 700R. Please recommend a solution! Thanks!

the only way the grease can get into the hopper is for the grease to go into the fire box and flow down the auger tube. There is no way that can happen if the fire box is burning as the grease would burn off.

Look to the left of the grill and see if grease is leaking down the side and maybe the seal from the hopper box to the grill is bad. That will allow grease to leak out if the seal is broken.

My grease is not coming from the hopper box but the opposite side as seen in pictures
