Getting way to hot

Hi guys,

Any time I set temp to 225, temp will go up to 350, if I set to 375 temps will be in tge 400s or even upto 500. I keep temp gauge clean, burn pot clean and no ashes in pit either. Any help is appreciated.

First, do you give it time for the temp to settle? It may take upwards of 30 minutes to settle in.
Second, have you tried adjusting the P-setting?

It used to maintain heat with only a being 30 deg above temps then setting at temp more or less. Should I move p setting up or down to be cooler? I've only had titan for about 5months so any advice helps, thanks.

The higer the number, the longer the pause between cycles....

4 is default setting i think....
