Similar here. Sloppy cook > foil. Not so sloppy > paper.For me I use foil on my pork butts and ribs(if I wrap them) and butcher paper on brisket and chuck roast.

It depends on what you are cooking. Overall, I go with butcher paper. I find that foil is best for ribs. But butcher paper is best for larger cuts like brisket, roasts, etc. But I do tent my pork butts with foilHas anyone actually put this to the test? What is your experience?
