Have a new pb850ps2. Did a few easy cooks to get the feel of it. Last week I cooked a 6.5 lb. pork picnic shoulder. Took a whopping 29 hours to get it to 203 degrees. Set the temp of the grill at 220. Surely it shouldn't have taken this long. What did I do wrong?

Did you check the grill temp to make sure it was accurate? The 220 deg might have been 175 deg. Other than that you did nothing wrong, pork shoulders take time smoking low and slow.

Yeah I was wondering if the actual grill temp was accurate or not. I would hope it is but who knows. Guess I'll have to purchase a thermometer to check that.
