Diffuser plate

I have the pb1150 pro series 2 which came with a diffuser plate. My buddy just got the 1150 dx which is kinda the same but no diffuser plate. Did PB realize the diffuser plate isn't necessary afterall even with the pb1150 ....should I get rid of it? Diffuser pic attached.

I would try it with and without and see what works best for me.

In or out in my 1150 made no difference. So I chucked it.

So even when out you still had heat differmces on left and right side?

Yea. I just learned to work with them.
