Hello all,

Thanks in advance for your support.

I have an 820. It’s a 2019 model and I’ve used it a lot. It has one nagging problem. Every time I set it to less than 250 the fire always goes out. Weather and pellets don’t seem to make a difference.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I own a 820 as well.
Best advice I can give you is to clean it after each cook. This includes the igniter and temperature sensor
Doing these steps will solve ignition issues and temperature swings.
And unplug it after it cools down.
I learned that lesson the hard way due to a lightning strike
Hopefully this helps you

Check your ignitor rod to see how much is sticking out. I adjusted mine to have 1/2" sticking out and it does great. Clean everything! including the temp sensor and see what happens. As long as you have not messed with the smoke setting it should work better. I clean mine after each cook and never had a problem.Sift your pellets also if you happened to change brands. I buy the same pellets and each bag is different as far as dust and broken pellets.
